First Aid Training

Did you know that every business must legally provide first aid for employees? Having an onsite First Aider is the most effective way to meet this requirement. Each First Aid Officer is legally required to attend First Aid training every three years to refresh their knowledge and to confirm their competence to provide first aid.

Having a trained First Aider allows your employees to obtain quick and effective first aid in the event of an incident, reducing the risk of a more serious outcome.

The MTA, in partnership with an accredited trainer (RTO 90909), are now offering First Aid training to all members. As an accredited course, successful attendees will also receive a Statement of Attainment in HLTAID003 Provide First Aid.

The First Aid training is suitable for either new attendees, or those requiring a refresher. To be a First Aider you are legally required to complete First Aid training and CPR training which the MTA also offer.
