The Motor Trade Association of SA/NT (MTA SA/NT) is the voice of the South Australian and Northern Territory’s automotive retail, service and repair industry. Our goal is to make South Australia and the Northern Territory’s automotive retail, service and repair sector the strongest in the nation, to provide jobs and opportunities for the future of the industry.
Our 1,200 members employ approximately 15,000 people directly and the automotive retail sector is an important South Australian industry, adding almost $3 billion to the State and Territory economy each year.
The MTA SA/NT provides members with access to a core advisory, support and representation service to help support, protect and grow their business. This gives members access to an extensive suite of services covering industrial relations, human resources, legal, Work Health & Safety (WHS), workers compensation and environmental solutions.
The MTA is also the largest automotive Group Training Scheme in South Australia, involved in the employment of over 500 apprentices, providing career pathways in the industry.
