Our apprentices will once again be showcasing their skills on a national stage at The Bend Supersprint next week. This is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices to demonstrate what they can do in the high pressure, fast-paced motorsport environment!
Five apprentices will be hosted in Supercar teams and eight others will be providing assistance to support category vehicles in The Bend’s Engineering Workshop. Complete with vehicle hoists and specialised tools, the workshop will ensure that our Motorsport Repair Team gets competitors back on the track as quickly as possible.
You can find the Engineering Workshop near the scrutineering area, west of the Corporate area / Pit Lane.
On display, will be the MTA’s Monaro, scheduled to do a demonstration run on the track. The Motorsport Repair Team has also once again secured the Lowbake mobile paint booth for vehicle painting demonstrations, providing competitors with paint repairs to ensure they look good on the track.
If you have Pit Lane Access, look out for our apprentices working in the Supercar teams. This is a once in a lifetime experience for many and an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Australian motorsport community!

The MTA has also secured a Member only benefit for those planning on going this year. For those looking to experience the event in style, the MTA Members Corporate Suite, located above the pit garages, will get you as close to the action as possible. There are also some savings available to those looking for grandstand and general admission tickets.
