Last week, MTA Host, Soitaire Jaguar Land Rover, held a morning tea to help celebrate Callum Onley completing his apprenticeship as a Light Vehicle Technician.

Solitaire HR Manager, David Bacon said, “Callum has been fantastic for us.”

“He’s keen, positive and wants to learn. We could not have asked for more, and we are very pleased with how he has developed with us. Thank you MTA and Callum!”

Callum said, "I have been very happy with the support from the MTA, payroll have always provided good assistance and the pastoral care reports every two months have always kept me up to date in regards to how I have been tracking on the job. This has allowed me to improve and develop my skill set throughout my apprenticeship.”

“Solitaire have always been very supportive and have been a great Host Employer.”

Callum’s Field Officer, Franco Albuino, said, “Callum is a standout apprentice. I’ve been supporting him throughout his apprenticeship journey.”

“Solitaire remains a great supporter of our apprentices, choosing to take them through the MTA’s GTO at every opportunity. It means they get a supported apprentice and a partner who understands their recruitment needs.”

“Callum is just one example of a standout apprentice who now has a future filled with opportunity ahead of him with the Solitaire brand.”

“From day one, Callum has displayed great mechanical aptitude and a genuine passion for the trade. He has excelled throughout his apprenticeship and has now become a competent and skilled technician.”
