Attracting the next generation of Automotive Technicians for a future filled with opportunity!

Public news

With the skills shortage the biggest issue currently experienced by MTA members, we have been showcasing the opportunities and careers available for automotive apprentices through a series of videos to compliment our work with schools.

This is an effort to increase the number of quality candidates for the industry and the series of videos showcase the opportunities through MTA alumni at their employers or businesses they have set up. These Alumni reflect on their training at the MTA and the rewarding opportunities they were given as apprentices and in their careers.

We encourage you to view and share the videos below in your own social media networks. By doing so, you will assist the industry in reaching more people who have a passion for anything on wheels but who don’t yet realise they can have a future filled with opportunity by following that passion as a career!

If you would like to either assist in our promotion of opportunities in an effort to increase the number of quality apprentices, or if you would like to try an MTA apprentice in your business, click here to contact Group Training Organisation Manager, Jason Polgreen.
