EV Charging Network Grants Now Open

The Government of South Australia has released the funding guidelines for its plan to invest $13.4 million to leverage approximately $25 million of private investment in the proposed statewide charging network.

The Department for Energy and Mines is now seeking proposals from industry to develop a section or sections of the Network, in the following priority areas:

  • Rapid Destination and ultra-rapid highway charging
  • Fast Fleet CBD car park and fast multi-unit hotel, motel and holiday park accommodation charging

  • MTA members who are interested in submitting a proposal need to first log on to the SA EV Charging Network - Grant application portal and complete an application form.

    Once verified, you will be given access to a secure online Data Room containing the funding guidelines, as well as access to other reports and information to support the development of your formal proposal.

    You will also gain access to critical information about the proposed site locations registered during stage one of the project; including the contact details of the property owners and tenants, as well as the facilities and amenities located at the site. You will also be invited to attend a briefing session.
