Opportunity for free travel, to meet world industry leaders through a Churchill Fellowship

Public news

Are you passionate about your work in the automotive industry? Do you want an opportunity to travel and meet industry leaders?

Successful applicants for a Churchill Fellowship can travel overseas for 4 to 8 weeks to investigate inspiring automotive practices and meet industry leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for automotive businesses in South Australia, like yours, to expand their network and skills with other global leaders, providing more opportunities for you, your employees and apprentices.

Two to three fellowships are awarded each year and encompass businesses that undertake a variety of activities including automotive manufacturing, retail, service and repair in the industry.

Projects may include research, investigation and observation of automotive industry practices and processes that are not readily available in Australia. The undertaking of training and skills development that is specific to the automotive sector and not available in Australia will also be considered.

Fellowship recipients will have access to the Churchill Trust’s Learning Framework, which includes foundation skills training, ongoing support, mentoring, and financial assistance for disseminating findings when they return.
