MTA trained apprentices once again had an opportunity to assist at the Adelaide 500.
Four apprentices were placed with Supercar team, Brad Jones Racing, experiencing the fast-paced motorsport environment where they performed refuelling, tyre and wheel changes, car maintenance during races and learning more about how these high performance vehicles function.
Toby Mills from BJ Auto, Ben Roether from Stillwell Ford, Kian Mohr from Adelaide City Chrysler Jeep Dogde and Domitrious Antoniou from McLaren Vale Auto Electrical, all worked hard in Brad Jones Racing and we thank the team for once again hosting automotive apprentices, providing them with this great opportunity.
For Toby, the event was his fourth time with the team, who requested him personally after his outstanding efforts in 2018 and 2019. For Ben, this was his third time with the team, also being personally requested after demonstrating his ability to work under pressure last year.
Each year, the Supercar events at the Adelaide 500 and The Bend provide opportunities for our apprentices to expand their skill sets and have a behind the scenes look at the world of motorsport.
