In January, we alerted members that as of June 8, there are new mandatory text requirements that must be inserted word for word in any documentation that is given to customers in relation to warranties against defects. This documentation could include:
- Flyers / booklets
- Repair Order / Repair Authority Terms & Conditions
- Disclosures on your website
This new requirement will affect any business that offers a warranty for defects against goods, services or a combination of both.
